A rookie practice squad player must say his goodbyes to the New York Giants.
On Tuesday, linebacker Jake Carlock announced his release from the team via his Twitter account. Carlock was initially waived and signed to the team’s practice squad after the preseason. The first-year pro racked up two total tackles, one sack, one pick-six and one pass defended in the preseason. The pick-six came against the New York Jets in Week 1 of the preseason.
I would like to thank the @Giants organization for the opportunity of a lifetime.
