On Tuesday, the New York Giants finally activated cornerback Sam Beal. Big Blue selected him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Supplemental Draft. The Western Michigan University product, however, hasn’t played a single regular-season nor preseason snap. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in July of his rookie year and then succumbed to a hamstring setback prior to this past preseason.
Nonetheless, the Giants have finally activated him as he prepares for his first NFL-game snaps. To clear a roster spot for the move, the Giants waived safety Sean Chandler.
