Big Blue has their starting center back for 2019.
On Friday, per Michael Eisen of the New York Giants official website, the New York Giants re-signed center Jon Halapio. Halapio was the starter going into 2018 but ended up on season-ending injured reserve early in the year.
In a Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Halapio suffered lower right leg and ankle fractures. His season thus ended abruptly, with Spencer Pulley taking over the role for the majority of the rest of the year.
The Giants recently tendered Halapio as an exclusive-rights free agent last week.
