Last Thursday, the New York Giants faced off against the New York Jets in both teams’ first preseason game. Being that it’s just an exhibition match, all eyes aren’t on the final score. Most eyes are on the performance of certain rookies as well as backups trying to crack the final roster.
And during that game, despite it only being for one series, all attention was on Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones. Going 5-for-5 for 67 yards and a touchdown pass to receiver Bennie Fowler Jr., Jones was on point in his first NFL action.
