New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley ‘felt good’ at Thursday’s practice

Will New York Giants fans see their star running back Saquon Barkley play this Sunday? It’s not impossible, as head coach Pat Shurmur still hasn’t ruled him out. The second-year pro is nursing a high ankle sprain suffered in the midst of a Week 3 win in Tampa Bay.

Barkley was seen (not in full gear) at Wednesday’s practice running, jumping, and making cuts. The ankle looked good then and didn’t seem to give Barkley too many problems again on Thursday.

“Got to do a little bit more,” Barkley said when asked about Thursday’s go-around, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.
