Daniel Jones took a huge step forward in his rehab from surgery for a torn ACL, and a big step in defending his turf as the starting quarterback for the New York Giants, on Monday.
Just six months after surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season, Jones took part in 7-on-7 drills as the Giants their first of 10 on-field practices as part of Phase 3 of the offseason program, commonly referred to as OTAs. That news came from the team’s official website after Monday’s practice.
The report said Jones completed passes to wide receivers Wan’Dale Robinson and first-round pick Malik Nabers.
