The New York Giants were only able to muster up three wins this season, despite being considered “Super Bowl Contenders.” The good news is that this putrid record allows the team to have the second pick in the draft.
There has been a lot of speculation about who the Giants might take. With the whole Eli Manning benching fiasco, it feels like Big Blue will almost definitely select a quarterback. But Manning has said he wants to remain a Giant through his contract and end his career in New York.
Just because the Giants select a quarterback doesn’t mean he will have to be the starter right away.
