For Monday Night Football, guard Patrick Omameh will apparently hit the pines for the New York Giants, according to NJ.com. Omameh was one of general manager’s Dave Gettleman’s key free agent signings in the offseason. This offensive line move was preceded by veteran John Greco replacing an injured Jon Halapio at center, and Ereck Flowers losing his job to second-year man Chad Wheeler at right tackle before the team’s game against the Houston Texans in Week 3.
Thus far, except for tackle Nate Solder, the free agent tree has not produced much fruit for Big Blue this season.
