New York Giants: Pat Shurmur Talks Carelessness With The Ball

The New York Giants managed a win against the Chicago Bears in their most recent preseason game, but they didn’t do it without problems. The most notable problems came from quarterback Daniel Jones who had a good game against the Bears but made a couple of mistakes that cast a shadow over the performance – mainly, the mistakes of fumbling two times, one of them on the snap and the other time after taking a hit during the pass rush.

It wasn’t expected that Jones would have another perfect game after completing all of his passes and throwing a touchdown to the corner of the end zone in his first outing, but two fumbles in one game still isn’t a good look for any quarterback, rookie or not, and the problem was enough to attract the attention of New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur personally.
