Make no mistake about it, attempting to beat (or even play a competitive game) with this New England Patriots team is the most arduous challenge that New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur has ever faced — that includes trying to lead the Cleveland Browns back from the ashes. While no one actually expects him to pull off the miracle win, just finding a way to match wits with Bill Bellichick and not get embarrassed will go a long way.
Even if his squad was at full strength (which it is far from), Shurmur would have his work cut out for him as this 2019 Patriots squad has been scary good.
