Through the Plaxico Burress era, the Victor Cruz/Hakeem Nicks era and the Odell Beckham Jr. era, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has shown us enough – we know who he is.
Even though he’s among the greatest in the game in career completions, yards, and touchdowns, Manning has only once been discussed in the MVP conversation – back in 2011 – and he didn’t receive a vote, as Aaron Rodgers ran away with the award.
Now, what I’ve said so far might lead a reader to think that I’m ragging on Manning, but here’s the deal, I’m actually complimenting him.
