New York Giants News: Duke Ihenacho provides depth at safety

The New York Giants inked the former Washington Redskins starter last week. He likely surpasses players like Nat Berhe and Eric Pinkins on the depth chart, at least initially. According to the team’s official website, Ihenacho played a significant role with the ‘Skins last season.

“Ihenacho, 6-1 and 212 pounds, played in 15 games with 10 starts last season for Washington. He had 59 tackles (49 solo) and two passes defensed, plus seven special teams tackles (five solo).”

Ihenacho was graded 62.7 by Pro Football Focus for last season, which ranked him 78th among safeties.
