As far as the successor to New York Giants QB Eli Manning is concerned, many people thought that it would come from the NFL Draft. Now, that may not be true.
On Wednesday, Philadelphia Eagles executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman announced that QB Nick Foles will not be franchise tagged. Foles would thus become a free agent and be available on March 13.
“It’s hard when you have someone who’s incredibly available to your organization at the most important position in sports,” Roseman said this week at the NFL Scouting Combine.
