The New York Giants have reached injury settlements with cornerback Mykkele Thompson and safety Duke Ihenacho and released both players from injured reserve, per the NFL’s transactions page.
Thompson was a 2015 fifth-round pick by the Giants. Ihenacho was a veteran signed as a free agent.
Fullback Jacob Huesman, cut by the Giants on Saturday, had a workout Tuesday with the Green Bay Packers.
NJ Advance Media’s James Kratch reported that new cornerback Ross Cockrell took a pay cut after being traded to the Giants.
