The New York Giants on Tuesday cut linebacker Nico Johnson with a failed physical designation. That leaves their roster at 70 players with the 2016 NFL Draft upcoming. Rosters will be at 90 for training camp.
Johnson was a 2013 fourth-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs. He appeared in one late-season game for the Giants last season.
