With the New York Giants sitting at 3-11 on the season without a playoff hope in sight, the expectation is that ownership will consider firing head coach Pat Shurmur, who has made continuous time management mistakes and personnel errors during live-games.
If Shurmur is fired, GM Dave Gettleman will be tasked with finding a replacement.
Here are three options the New York Giants should consider:
1.) Matt Rhule
Rhule has a bit of experience with the Giants, spending 2012 as an assistant to the offensive line coach. Rhule went back to Temple after his short stint with Big Blue, as he spent the six previous years at the University.
