Patrick Omameh, Jonathan Stewart, Nate Solder, Mike Remmers, Antoine Bethea…the list goes on for New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman and his underwhelming free-agent signings.
Gettleman has made numerous questionable decisions over his two-year tenure with the Giants, including the eating of $19.75 million on the Odell Beckham Jr. trade. Now, going into the 2020 offseason, it’s expected that Gettleman will have upwards of $80 million to play with in free agency, the question is, are we comfortable with him spending it?
Realistically, he has a few positions that need to be reinforced, but the quality of the players available on the market determines how well he can solve any remaining problems.
