There’s no rule in the books that force general manager’s in the NFL to speak publicly about their plans. There’s no exception for New York Giants GM Dave Gettleman, and expecting him to talk to the fans is a non-story.
Would we like to hear his plans for the future, and what’s going through his mind? Of course, but that could be revealing for other teams. Any factoid can be used against Gettleman if he doesn’t keep his mouth shut. Remember, Leonard Floyd?
