In week five of the regular season for the New York Giants, top pass-catcher Sterling Shepard suffered his second concussion of the season. A blow to the offense and a potentially devastating blow to Shepard, who could’ve been in real trouble concerning his overall health.
However, Shepard has already begun practicing in individual drills and could only miss one more game due to concussion symptoms. Being cleared for exercises in the same capacity as Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram is fantastic news, given Shepard’s teammates will likely suit up against the Arizona Cardinals.
Sterling is eyeing a week eight return against the Detroit Lions, though, after most believed he would be sidelined for at least a month.
