The New York Giants made several roster cuts on Wednesday and Thursday in hopes of finding a few more hidden gems.
The Giants have waived oft-injured converted cornerback Mykkele Thompson on Thursday, after seeing him spend a majority of his playing career on injury reserve.
Thomspon was a fifth-round pick in 2015, but only saw action in one game for Big Blue over his two-year tenure with the team.

The Texas product was originally a safety when he entered the league in 2015, but made the transition to cornerback after head coach Ben McAdoo felt that the team already had a manageable number of safeties.
