New York Giants Make a Few Surprising Roster Cuts

According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the New York Giants have already decided to waive wide receiver Roger Lewis and safety Andrew Adams.

Both moves are somewhat surprising.

After Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard, it’s a bit shaky on the wide receiver depth chart for the Giants.

So, to see a player like Lewis, who saw a ton of playing time last year, get cut, it certainly came as a bit of a shock.

Lewis caught 36 passes and 2 touchdowns last season.

Adams is another interesting roster decision, as his 2016 rookie campaign with the team was outstanding.
