Azeez Ojulari is staying put. For now. After shopping him prior to Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET NFL trade deadline, the New York Giants decided not to trade the 24-year-old free-agent-to-be edge defender.
Several edge defenders were traded before the deadline. Preston Smith went from the Green Bay Packers to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Za’Darius Smith from the Cleveland Browns to the Detroit Lions, and Baron Browning from the Denver Broncos to the Arizona Cardinals.
Per Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Giants wanted a late fourth-round or early fifth-round pick in exchange for Ojulari.
