New York Giants rookie Jake Carlock has a long way to go to make the final 53-man roster. The former LIU Post defensive back went undrafted and will have to prove to everyone during camp and in preseason what he’s made of.
He’s not the most talented guy on the field, so Carlock is aware of the fact that he’ll just have to outwork everyone in order to get the coaches’ attention.
“I think for me, it’s all about effort,” Carlock said after the Giants’ first preseason game last Thursday against the New York Jets, per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.
