New York Giants: Is there interest in Dez Bryant?

That fact likely won’t be enough of a reason for the team to sign former Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant. Bryant was released by the ‘Boys on Friday after eight seasons with the team.

A quick look at his production explains the team’s rationale in cutting their “top” receiver. In 2017, Bryant caught 69 passes for 838 receiving yards and only six touchdowns. It was the third straight season where Bryant had less than 1,000 receiving yards.

Injuries played a role in his statistical production, but his health and availability were also a team concern.
