According to the team’s official website, the New York Giants inked nine players to futures/reserve contracts on Tuesday. Essentially, these contracts are for players not currently on an NFL team’s active roster (53-man and injured reserve, etc.).
Practice squad players are up for grabs, and in fact the G-Men came to terms with five of their former practice squad players.
That list includes: defensive end Myles Humphrey (Shepherd University), running back Robert Martin (Rutgers), tackles Victor Salako (Oklahoma State) and Jylan Ware (Alabama State), and defensive back Ronald Zamort (Western Michigan).
Ex-CFL player Jake Ceresna was among the four non-practice squad players inked by Big Blue.
