Despite having Saquon Barkley, the New York Giants felt as though they needed more running back support, invested $6 million over two-years on Devontae Booker, a 219-pound bruising running back.
With Barkley needing a complementary back to ease him back into regular play, Booker can fill that role and offer a solid RB2 to take some of the slack and short-yardage situations to mitigate wear and tear on Saquon.
Booker posted 432 yards and three scores last year with the Las Vegas Raiders, and at 28-years-old, he has a few years left of solid production left.
