The New York Giants were bad in their 31-21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Making matters worse, the Giants also lost Justin Pugh, Damon Harrison, and Kelvin Sheppard to injury over the course of the game.
Pugh started the game at right tackle after missing last week’s game to a back injury. That injury apparently flared up at some point in the game and he was replaced by Bobby Hart.
Kelvin Sheppard returned to the team this week after a rash of injuries depleted their depth at linebacker.
