Thus far in training camp, New York Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is continuing his journey of preparation. Big Blue most likely won’t call upon Jones to start right now. However, he’s doing what he can to become the future of the Giants at the quarterback position.
On Thursday, he showed how much he’s improved thus far, with a long touchdown pass to veteran running back Paul Perkins.
On Friday, before the Giants’ 2:45 p.m. ET practice at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, head coach Pat Shurmur was asked about Jones’ throw to Perkins.
