Last week, New York Giants rookies reported to training camp on Monday, with veterans reporting on Wednesday. The first full-team practice was then on Thursday, as the team had their first two fully-padded practices on Saturday and Sunday.
Although it’s only been a week thus far in this long season, head coach Pat Shurmur believes the team has put a ton of work in.
Despite the multiple setbacks for the Giants this week, including injuries to Sterling Shepard (fractured thumb) and Corey Coleman (ACL tear), along with the four-game suspension for Golden Tate, Shurmur is preaching progression heading into week two.
