Based upon the result of Sunday’s game, many New York Giants players got the message. The team’s 18-10 victory over the Washington Redskins proved to be a testament in perseverance. Even though the win could have done more harm than good in terms of the rebuild, it didn’t matter.
A win meant more than a potential draft position.
Even so, a couple of New York Giants players felt like they should test the resolve of the new regime. Right tackle Bobby Hart quickly rode himself out of town. Poor play and low dead cap space, made for an easy decision to cut him right away.
