It hasn’t been a great few days for the New York Giants as far as their receiving corps. On Thursday, Sterling Shepard was diagnosed with a fractured left thumb and will now be evaluated on a week-to-week basis. Additionally, it was announced Friday morning that Corey Coleman tore his ACL and would be out for the season.
Giants general manager Dave Gettleman addressed the media prior to training camp practice on Friday. When asked about the current state of the receivers, Gettleman stated that they’ll “invite a couple of vets” to work out for them, per Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.
