Looks like former New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo won’t be the only one headed to coach the Kansas City Chiefs defense.
Per a report on Friday from Nate Taylor of The Athletic, former Giants defensive back Sam Madison is a “leading candidate” to be one of Spagnuolo’s defensive assistants.
Following their 37-31 loss to the Patriots in the AFC Championship, the Chiefs named Spagnuolo their new DC late January.
On this snowy day, according to multiple sources, Sam Madison is a leading candidate to join Steve Spagnuolo’s staff as an assistant in the secondary.
