While the New York Giants were not on many people’s minds when it came to Super Bowl contenders before the start of the 2019 season, it’s also a surprise that the once proud franchise has continued to fall even further throughout the course of the season. After a crazy Week 10 of NFL action, that saw Big Blue lose to the cross-town Jets, and several other bottom feeders win games, the Giants now hold some prime draft position.
The high draft position is certainly a positive to take into the off-season for a rebuilding team (although it hurts to suffer through), but GM Dave Gettleman will have his work cut out for him, as Big Blue doesn’t hold two picks in any round outside of the seventh.
