The New York Giants were at the heart of one of the more bizarre stories of the 2016 NFL season. For those who missed it, New York was accused of illegally using walkie talkies during a 10-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 11.
In response to the walkie talkie fiasco of 2016, the Giants have received what’s been described as a light sentence from the league office.
The Giants are attempting to get through the 2017 NFL offseason without taking any significant losses. As Jerry Reese weighs his options in free agency and determines which players are worth bringing back, he’ll be forced to compensate for this slide down the draft board.
