The New York Giants have reportedly met with Florida offensive tackle David Sharpe at the 2017 NFL Combine according to his agent, Ron Butler.
At 6’6″ and 357 pounds, Sharpe was a highly touted prospect coming out of high school. Before choosing to attend Florida the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl had offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
In 2014, he cracked Florida’s offensive line rotation as a true freshman and started 26 out of the Gators 27 games at left tackle throughout the past two seasons.
