It’s been a long time since the New York Giants were in contention for a Super Bowl let alone actively participating in one and winning one, but at one point during the last decade the Giants did win two Super Bowls – and both of them were victories that can, among other things, be directly attributed to Eli Manning as quarterback. With Manning retiring, a lot of fans are looking back to those moments, and Manning himself has recently reflected on the two games against the Patriots where the Giants shocked the world.
However, Manning didn’t take all the credit for himself, continuing the trend of classy responses that lasted throughout his career.
