In play for the New York Giants would seem to be quarterbacks Josh Allen, Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen, running back Saquon Barkley and edge rusher Bradley Chubb. But another player has seemingly been rising up draft charts recently.
He’s Notre Dame offensive guard Quenton Nelson.
ESPN’s Jordan Raanan wrote this about Nelson:
“For a guard to even be in the conversation at No. 2 overall pick shows how well regarded he must be by personnel evaluators around the league.”
Now, we will say this about Nelson – he is likely the safest pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
