New York Giants: Devon Kennard quickly goes from friend to foe

It should be an area that New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman focuses on as he settles into his role. Previously, the G-Men were more often one contract and done with many draft picks. This past offseason, Gettleman walked away from several draft picks taken during the tenure of former general manager Jerry Reese, including linebacker Devon Kennard. Hopefully that will change over time.

Kennard latched onto the Detroit Lions in free agency, and he gets to meet his former team in a preseason game on Aug. 17 in Detroit. Prior to the game, it was announced in June that the teams will engage in a few team practices.
