It’s no secret that New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is reaching the end of his career. A pure pocket passer, Manning was done a disservice by former general manager Jerry Reese. Unfortunately, Webb belongs in the same category as well. Reese drafted the young signal-caller without looking at the big picture. Webb basically wasted his rookie season as a pawn in a larger franchise tug-of-war.
Right now, Webb remains a man without a future. This problem stared with the lack of vision by Reese – who drafted the former Cal Bear without thinking seriously about succession.
