When the New York Giants initially drafted Daniel Jones with the seventh overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the response was negative. People were unsure of a quarterback coming out of Duke, having played against lesser talent and the bad memories of Dave Brown still festering in the back of their minds. However, Jones is far different in every way, and he showed that his rookie season with his anticipation and leadership qualities. Nonetheless, there were some bad moments, and week five against the Minnesota Vikings was one of them.
Jones finished the game with 182 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
