The New York Giants cut three high-priced veterans on February 10th: middle linebacker Jon Beason, former starting left tackle Will Beatty, and 2014 free agent signing Geoff Schwartz.
Many saw Jon Beason’s release dating back to November 8th when he was shut down for the season, listing him as one of the players Big Blue would move on from in 2016. The former Carolina Panther got wistful about his former team advancing to the Super Bowl leading up to the big game, but still wanted to remain with the Giants.
