Not good news for the New York Giants as the preseason is now underway.
On Sunday, rookie cornerback DeAndre Baker had to leave practice during warm-up drills. According to head coach Pat Shurmur, the former University of Georgia standout “felt something” in his knee, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post. Baker thus went for an MRI.
As of Monday morning’s practice, Baker was still not participating in drills, per Paul Dottino of WFAN.
