One of the more underrated rookies on the New York Giants is sixth-round pick Corey Ballentine. The former Washburn University cornerback will work with additional rookie defensive backs DeAndre Baker and Julian Love in order to get acclimated to James Bettcher’s defense.
And despite Ballentine having a long way to go before becoming a starter in this league, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur says he’s “getting better” as training camp rolls on.
