Perhaps, that’s a commentary about the state of the New York Giants roster that the two best teams in the league don’t have Big Blue castoffs. As far as ex-Giants players, we see that linebacker Calvin Munson sits on the New England Patriots practice squad.
Munson was a somewhat surprising cut by the G-Men at the end of training camp last year. Fortunately, at first, he was re-signed to the New York Giants practice squad on the day he was cut (Sept. 2, 2018).
Big Blue could have certainly used someone like the undrafted free agent from San Diego State during the course of the 2018 NFL season, especially with Alec Ogletree missing three games for the team, according to Pro Football Reference.
