The New York Giants picked up their first loss in the past few weeks against the Minneosta Vikings, after stringing together back to back wins during their first two games with Daniel Jones at the helm, but the loss itself wasn’t the only thing that the team suffered. The Giants have struggled in the injury department ever since the offseason when a number of players went down early in training camp, and it seems like every week, there’s another player out.
This time, it’s another one at an important position.
Wayne Gallman was taken out of the game with a concussion after replacing Saquon Barkley at running back after Barkley’s injury – while Barkley nearly came back in time for this game, despite suffering a high ankle sprain against Tampa in week three, that didn’t happen as the team ruled Barkley out during the late buildup to the game.
