For this Veteran’s day, the New York Jets and New York Giants game Sunday afternoon honored veterans as part of the NFL’s Salute to Service initiative. With personnel and players clad in patriotic gear, the New York Jets and New York Giants showed their appreciation for American heroes.
Prior to the game, the Black Daggers Parachute team part of the Special Forces of Fort Bragg the United States Army descended from a UH-60 helicopter. During warm-ups and halftime, players from both the New York Jets and New York Giants showed their gratitude for veterans and servicemen and women and their families in attendance.
