New York Giants add six players and release six veterans

On Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, the New York Giants announced their 53-man roster. On Sunday, they made several changes to their roster including several surprising cuts and adding six new players.

The six players that were added are defensive end Mario Edwards Jr., wide receiver Kaelin Clay, center Spencer Pulley, and defensive backs Antonio Hamilton, Mike Jordan and Kamrin Moore.

All of the new acquisitions are expected to be on the practice field on Monday when the Giants hold their first practice in preparation for their season opener on Sunday at MetLife Stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
