New York Giants: 4 Reasons To Stay Away From Martellus Bennett

Yes, the New York Giants need a tight end.

No, the answer to their problem is not Martellus Bennett, who is expected to hit the free agent market this offseason.

Throughout the very short offseason so far, I feel as though all I’ve talked about is the Giants problem at tight end.

Between Larry Donnell, Will Tye, and Jerell Adams, the trio of Giants caught just three touchdowns last season, with Tye, who played the majority of the snaps, finishing as the 61st ranked player at his position, according to Pro Football Focus.

Whether in the draft or free agency, the position clearly needs to be addressed.
