I bet the New York Giants wished they had Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie or Ross Cockrell right about now, eh?
With cornerback Eli Apple (groin) sidelined this week vs the Houston Texans, and Apple’s return date unknown, it would be smart for the Giants to look for options outside of the organization.
At the moment, B.W. Webb and Donte Deayon are the only somewhat-accomplished corners on the Giants roster.
And although none of these options would likely be ready in time for Sunday’s matchup, it would be in the best interest of the team to keep their eyes open.
