Unless the New York Giants are comfortable with Tavarres King or Roger Lewis as the third starting wideout, a reinforcement or two is necessary at the position. Before anyone goes crazy over Odell Beckham’s former teammate – understand that there’s only one football. With that football, quarterback Eli Manning (or Josh Rosen or Davis Webb) has to find enough targets for Odell Beckham, Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram.
For one, Shepard has proven to be efficient – catching 70 percent of his targets – which bodes well for his future as a Giant. Meanwhile Engram appears to be a volume pass catcher, meaning that you’ll have to throw him the ball a lot to get production.
